Welcome dearest beloved
We are here again for something different that our King has in store. I pray that this intense word will be sown into your spirit as a fruitful seed and may Abba reveal even deeper things to you.
It was the season and festival of Shavuot unto our ABBA a few weeks back. During this time everyone faced tremendous trials, hurt, persecutions and struggles. Abba kept taking me to Genesis 37 where Joseph was sold by his brothers…
Are you ready to be casted out by all like Joseph for Abba? Are you willing to live in the fullness of what God has planned? Are you ready to be persecuted for His Name? Are you signing the marriage contract and saying yes to YHVH? Are you choosing Him?
Genesis 37: 23 -27 "So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe—the ornate robe he was wearing— and they took him and threw him into the cistern. The cistern was empty; there was no water in it. As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead. Their camels were loaded with spices, balm and myrrh, and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt. Judah said to his brothers, “What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood? Come, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him; after all, he is our brother, our own flesh and blood.” His brothers agreed."
As I was enduring various trails and hurt in this season, and even heard of my fellow believers' struggles, I went to Abba and asked Him what is happening. He really came and talked to me about how He is moulding and shaping us and is most importantly preparing us to be His bride. He showed me the promises we can cling to because in this world we are going to face difficulties. WE ARE GOING TO FACE TRAILS AND STRUGGLES FOR HIS NAME's SAKE AND THE CHOICE IS OURS!!
He showed me how even though Joseph’s own brothers sold him to the Ishmaelites, God made him a king. Even though Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego faced the test in the fire, they were not scorched in the fire because it was for His Name sake. Are we ready? Are we awaiting our First Love? Is He enough?
By the words of Daniel 3: “even if our God doesn’t save us He is still good and we will not bow to your idols.”
Will we risk everything of ‘our’ little kingdoms we have built for our King?
Abba gave me a vision and said that I should make it into an image and put it in a frame. He gave me a picture about the trail of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fire with flames and these 3 men shouting for Joy to our Abba. Praising Him in fire! And He highlighted these words to me from the song New fires by Sarah van Vuuren: “Will you worship ME and not bow down? Will you worship ME in captivity, so that I can se you free, renew your mind, to return to the land of love and compromise?”
Will you?
Abba created us to choose for ourselves. If we come to know Him and come to love Him, nothing else will matter. I want to encourage you today to come to Abba’s throne and ask Him to restore your love gate, to see Him for who He is and to strengthen you for the struggles. What a joy to know the King of the universe and how special is it that He prepares us and takes ‘time’ to prepare us because He longs for us.
