The Lion Roars over South Africa: A Prophetic Call to a Nation

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.” - Deuteronomy 30:19 AMP

A sound is rising from the throne of God. A sound that shakes the heavens and the earth. A sound that commands the forces of darkness to bow. It is the roar of the Lion of Judah, calling South Africa, calling his sons and daughters to ARISE.

For too long, the thief has ravaged this land. His fingerprints are on the bloodshed. His fingerprints are on the corruption, the greed, the violence, and the cycles of poverty. But today, heaven issues a decree: ENOUGH.

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” - John 10:10 AMP

South Africa, you were designed in heaven before you were formed on earth. God’s hand was upon you before man divided you with greed and blood. His heart still burns for the destiny He spoke over this soil.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument].” - Jeremiah 1:5 AMP

With over 84% professing the name of Christ, this is not a pagan nation. This is a nation of covenant yet bound by compromise. We have sung the songs of worship but walked in the counsel of the wicked. We have declared the name of Jesus but partnered with the systems of Pharaoh.

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” - Revelation 3:15-16 AMP

This is the mercy of God that He confronts us today. This is not condemnation but rather this is a rescue mission. Repent from bitterness-based justice and unforgiveness. “For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” - James 1:20 AMP

We have allowed the words of death to rule our politics. Words of confiscation, hatred, bitterness, resentment and entitlement. These are the words of the kingdom of darkness, not of heaven. “Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the deliverance of justice rest with Me]; I will repay,” says the Lord. - Romans 12:19 AMP

When a nation chooses to build its future on what it can take instead of what it can create with God, it signs alliance with poverty and destruction. This is not justice, this is the seed of Cain, where brother rises against brother.

The soil of South Africa is soaked in the blood of the past, the blood of the innocent, the blood of the oppressed, and the blood of the oppressors with many who cry out for justice. But there is a higher blood that speaks louder.

“And to Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant... and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of mercy, a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].” - Hebrews 12:24 AMP

It is the blood of Yeshua, the Messiah. His blood cancels the curses of generations. His blood heals the wounds that no government can heal. His blood restores what no legislation can repair. We need to call heaven in to invade our nation and our land! “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” - Matthew 6:10 AMP

We declare that South Africa is not the enemy’s playground. It is God’s inheritance. This is the hour where creation groans for the sons and daughters of God to be revealed.

“For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.” - Romans 8:19 AMP

The mountains, the rivers, the plains, and the soil are waiting for righteous voices to command alignment back to heaven’s order, to come out of Babylon. Come out of the systems of greed, compromise, corruption, and counterfeit justice. Come out of the enemy’s camp. A Bride who burns with holy oil.

“Therefore, come out from among unbelievers and be separate,” says the Lord, “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will graciously receive you and welcome you [with favour].” - 2 Corinthians 6:17 AMP

This is not just a call to believe but a call to make a shift. To move out of complacency, victimhood, violence, anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, idolatry and worldly systems. It a call to move into the Kingdom of God and under the supernatural order of heaven. We are called to be a nation where leaders inquire of the Lord before every decision. A nation where the poor are empowered, not exploited. A nation where creativity replaces theft. A nation where justice flows from heaven, not from revenge. A nation whose economy is built on stewardship, not plunder. A nation where the Spirit of the Lord is invited into Parliament, boardrooms, classrooms, and homes.

“Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favoured by God] is the nation whose God is the LORD.” - Psalm 33:12 AMP

Lion of Judah, ROAR over South Africa.

We bow before You, King Jesus. We acknowledge that we have sinned. We have allowed bitterness, greed, corruption, violence, division, and idolatry to rule. We repent. We fall on our faces. You say Lord “If My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” - 2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP

We break every agreement with the enemy. Every word curse, every act of injustice, every covenant with greed, every altar built to anything other than the Living God. We plead the blood of Jesus over South Africa, over every province, over every tribe, over every city, over every family, over the soil, the water, the air and over the very foundations of our nation. Let heaven invade earth.

Holy Spirit breathe over this land. Breathe life into dry bones and awaken Your sons and daughters to arise with courage, boldness, and purity. Father, release Your angel armies to war over this nation. Let the demonic systems be shattered, let the altars of corruption fall and let the spirit of poverty be broken. We call for righteous leaders who bow to You. Leaders who walk in wisdom, revelation, and the fear of the Lord.

May each person Arise from spiritual depression and shine and let your light come. We declare that South Africa will be a beacon of light, revival, and glory to the nations of the earth.

In the mighty, unshakable, victorious name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, we declare: AMEN

THE LION HAS ROARED! NOW CHOOSE.

“For the Lord GOD does nothing Without revealing His secret plan [of the judgment to come] To His servants the prophets. The lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” - Amos 3:7-8 AMP

South Africa - Choose whom you will serve. Let the roar of the Lion of Judah awaken every soul, every home, every leader. Let this nation shift. The Spirit of God is calling YOU - not just your nation and your leaders.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” - Joshua 24:15 AMP

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, then the time of lukewarm compromise is over. Decide now whom you serve. This is no longer about waiting for governments to change or churches to lead. It starts with YOU. It starts in your own heart and in your own mind. It starts in your own home, with your own words. It starts in your business, your speech, your contracts and your decisions. Every word you speak is an agreement either with heaven or with hell.

SO SPEAK LIFE, PEACE, BLESSING, PROVISION, PROTECTION, REDEMPTION AND RESTORATION.

Let the Spirit of God breath over you. Let Him breathe so much life into you that the darkness cannot stay. Let the enemy flee in terror NOW.

As your flame ignites the kingdom of darkness panics. One light becomes ten. Ten become a hundred. A thousand flames across this land explode into a wildfire of glory. The demonic forces retreat in chaos unable to stand against the burn of Christ’s presence.

“The light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].” - John 1:5 AMP
