Miracles, million little miracles

Shalom beloved,
By just reading the heading you might think of the song ‘Million little miracles’ by Elevation Worship. This song has truly found a new meaning to me. Abba met me in such a special way and led me on a journey about miracles.
For some time Abba would continually highlight miracles to me. I would hear testimonies of miracles and even be part of situations that could truly only be turned around by a miracle. There came to be such a significance in it that I seemed to miss or not even see for years. One Sabbath as I listened to this song I just clicked something about small miracles and as soon as I grasped that, Abba took me to places of even bigger miracles. I realized how often we miss the miracle of having breath in our lungs, family, having food, friends and even having the privilege to know Abba.
The Hebrew word for miracles is Strong’s H4519 – môp̄ēt {מוֹפֵת} which is pronounced mo-faith' which means the following: conspicuousness; a miracle; by implication, a token or omen:—miracle, sign, wonder.
I found it quite interesting that in the pronunciation of the word miracle, the word ‘faith’ is found. Immediately Abba takes me to so many places where Yeshua healed the sick or cleansed the leper or made the lame walk, His words always consist of something along the lines – 1. “Your faith has made you well” or 2. “You sins have been forgiven, go and sin no more”.
Matthew 9:1-2 AMP
'And Jesus, getting into a boat, crossed over the Sea of Galilee and came to [Capernaum] His own city. They brought to Him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a stretcher. Seeing their [active] faith [springing from confidence in Him], Jesus said to the paralytic, “Do not be afraid, son; your sins are forgiven [the penalty is paid, the guilt removed, and you are declared to be in right standing with God].” [Mark 2:3-12; Luke 5:18-26] '
Mark 5:34 AMP
'Then He said to her, “Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in Me] has restored you to health; go in peace and be [permanently] healed from your suffering.” '
Abba showed me for the first time that there is a connection between faith and miracles. But also the awesomeness of His great wonders doesn't depend on our faith because He is able to do far greater, just as in the instance of Moses before Pharaoh.
Exodus 7:9 AMP
“When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Work a miracle [to prove your authority],’ then you say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, so that it may become a serpent.’'
Deuteronomy 29:2-3 AMP
'Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his servants, and to all his land; the great trials [of Pharaoh] which your eyes have seen, the signs and those great wonders. '
Abba is a miracle worker. He performs miracles in our life, big and small, every day. Do your eyes rest on your hurdles or on your miracles.
Psalms 86:10 AMP
'For You are great and do wondrous works! You alone are God. '
Last week with all of this in mind I read 1 Kings 17 where Abba says to Elijah to go and hide east of the Jordan. Abba then continues to say that He will instruct ravens to bring Elijah food. And they brought him bread and meat every morning and every evening. What a miracle!
I challenge you to go and journey through Abba’s Word alongside His Holy Spirit and reach a new understanding of miracles. It truly strengthened my faith as I now knew of the seemingly impossible things Abba did as for example in the story of Elijah and that if He could do that, He can move in whatever situation I find myself.
Shalom to you all!
